Jim Tarsi Jr., owner, a native of Ridgefield, Connecticut, attended Stony Brook University after graduating from Ridgefield High School. He earned his degrees, graduating magna cum laude, in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 2004. After completing his final rotation at Ireland’s National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire he returned to Ridgefield where he has been practicing for the past 10 years.

Jim was exposed to the McKenzie Method early on in his training at Thomas Jefferson University. Throughout his career Jim has trained in and observed various other philosophies of treatment and has found the McKenzie Method also know as Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) to be the most effective. In 2011 Jim became a Diplomate in MDT, which represents the highest level of training within the McKenzie Institute and includes competency in manual therapy and joint manipulation. Upon completion Jim became one of only 400 healthcare practitioners worldwide to have achieved this level of training for the treatment of musculoskeletal spine and extremity problems.
